Rich
Uhl has been a member of the Sioux City Fire
Department since 1981. He has served on the
department’s hazardous materials response team,
fire/arson investigator in the Fire Marshal’s Office
and is currently the Division Chief of Training.
Mr. Uhl has a BS in Criminal Justice Administration
and an AAS in Emergency Medical Service. He is a
member of the American College of Forensic Examiners
International and is Certified in Homeland Security
Level III.
Brian Thiele
has been a member of the Sioux City Fire Department
since 1983. He has served as the department’s
Public Education Officer and currently as Deputy
Fire Marshal in the Fire Marshal’s Office. Along
with fire prevention activities he has experience in
grant writing and will aid in identifying project
funding sources.
